YHA Anakiwa Lodge is a boutique 5 star hostel similar to a small hotel, a 25 min scenic drive from Picton. An ideal self contained base for walking, kayaking or mountain biking in the Marlborough Sounds.

Location Information
The main Queen Charlotte track is only 5 mins from our doorstep. Take a boat cruise up the sounds and walk back to the lodge - makes for a great days outing.
Take our free kayaks down to the beach, with trolleys and lifejackets included. Go for a paddle in the still calm waters, look down for the stingrays & jellyfish.
If your lucky, you may find inquistive seals or dolphins coming to check you out.
Kayaking is safe and easy - we get a lot of 1st timers who find they now have a new sport.
