Liked: Location

Disliked: No character, couldnt make any noise after 11pm, and with no real inside lounge area we had to leave the hostel. Not that there is much of a party atmoshpere anyway, all older guests. Good rest stop I guess

Liked: Good location, excellent facitilies, friendly staff, lots of activities on offer.

Disliked: A little bit cold in the communal areas and our room but there were extra blankets, etc available for the bedrooms.

Liked: Location is great - ocean is right outside across the street and only a 5-10 minute walk to areas of downtown. Very clean! Comfy beds, amazing staff, huge kitchen, awesome place! Napier is a cute, little, funky town if you want to relax away from the Auckland/Wellington side of NZ. And if you go, stay here!

Liked: The rooms are great with fabulous views, the staff are fantastic and helpful, the kitchen is huge and clean, plus the free soup for dinner ROCKS!!!

Liked: The hostel was in a good location, with the town just down the road and the beach opposite. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of cooking room. We stayed in a twin room, which was chilly at night but a good size.
