Located on the beachfront close to town Napier YHA has character, fantastic sea views, spacious rooms, cheerful staff and a convivial atmosphere. Napier was rebuilt in just 2 years after a devastating earthquake in 1931 and is now regarded as an Art Deco architectural gem. Much like a European seaside town there are many attractions for all ages, food and wine tours to be enjoyed and seabird colonies to visit near by, or you could just “chill out” and soak up the sun.
YHA New Zealand is a non-profit membership organization. Non-members pay an additional NZ$3 per person per night fee upon check-in. Memberships can be purchased online or at the hostel.
