Liked: Extremely comfortable bed with very warm quilt and reasonably comfortable thick pillow.

Liked: great and friendly staff! even gave me a free ride to a different city where I had to catch my bus! very cosy with the fire places and stuff!

Liked: The hosts are lovely and the lounge-room with the huge fireplace was very cosy. We really enjoyed our time at this Lodge and looking forward to stay there again.

Liked: The owner of this hostel was very friendly and was kind enough to give us an alarm call at 6am to catch our balloon ride . . . awesome!

Liked: Friendly hosts and warm atmsphere rarely experienced whilst I packpacked around the globe. Was the best hostel we stayed at in NZ by far. If you like a cozy, friendly atmosphere, stay at Pinedale. If not go elsewhere!
