Welcome to Pinedale Lodge!
This is a fun and homely place to stay - there is a comfortable open plan dining area (with log burner) and large communal lounge with pool table and sunken ‘love pit’ in front of an large open fireplace. It has a ski tuning room and storage for mountain bikes. The kitchen is well equipped including 2 ovens and 2 fridge/freezers. There is hi-speed internet and wireless access, a library, DVD player, video, and table soccer. Guests are eligible for discounted ski hire in Methven.

Within walking distance of Pinedale are several legendary pubs and an arthouse movie theatre. The Visitor Centre is nearby as are supermarkets, a book shop, galleries, ski and snowboard shops and a gym. There are plenty of places to eat, including takeaways, pub meals, cafes and restaurants.
Nearby activities include skiing, hot air ballooning, jet boating, Lord of the Rings tours, tandem skydiving, hiking, golf, rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, and horse-riding.
Pinedale Lodge is an easy 1 hour drive from Christchurch International Airport along the travelling route between Christchurch, Mt Cook and Queenstown. In winter local shuttle buses will pick you up from Pinedale and take you up Mount Hutt.
