Overview
A wild natural paradise of tree ferns and birds - the perfect place to relax on the way to Cape Reinga. Holiday work available.
The Welcome Swallow Backpackers is set in wild subtropical forest only 10 minutes from amazing sandy beaches. It is a great place to relax for a few days after Paihia and Auckland before the drive to Cape Reinga. Local activities include Diving the Rainbow Warrior, fishing, surfing, snorkeling and of course bush walks. In the evening soak under the stars in the hot tub and enjoy a cold beer round the camp fire. BBH discounts and WiFi in all the rooms. Work in local orchards in March, April, May and June.
