We are the most centrally located hostel in beautiful Hanmer Springs. Our hostel is a small, cozy and warm Swiss chalet style backpackers providing excellent accommodation to independent travelers at low prices. We now provide cheap transport between Hanmer Springs and Kaikoura and between Hanmer Springs and Christchurch as well. Contact us for more info.

Hanmer Backpackers can sleep 21 guests in 6 different rooms. We can also accommodate two small tents on our lawn.
