Global Vilage Backpackers

Global Village provides comfortable, unique Backpackers' accommodation to world travelers of all nationalities. We enjoy a beautiful riverside setting, just a two minute drive (or 10 minute walk) from the centre of town and a two minute drive also to our rugged west coast beach.

We have doubles, twins, and single rooms as well as shared dormitories available. Our rooms come fully made-up beds with fresh linen and cozy duvets, and have full central heating. Our rooms are beautifully decorated with a Global theme. We also have a separate TV lounge with extensive movie collection. There is also safe, off-street parking.

Greymouth's New World supermarket is just 400m from our doorstep. Our well-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounges, and super modern bathroom facilities are shared by all our guests.

The showers are always hot, the kitchen is always clean, the beds comfortable, the rooms are quiet and spacious, and you can always count on good company and a great atmosphere. Global Village is a place that will inspire you to travel more.
