Come and enjoy a relaxing stroll in the podocarp forest and native New Zealand bush.
While in bed wake to the tranquillity of the dawn chorus bird life,
and feel the gentle warmth of the sun's rays streaming over the treetops.
This is the place to refresh yourself and get your life back in perspective and balance.
Nestled intimately on the edge of Mt. Peel we offer warm Kiwi/Christian hospitality,
and healthy home-grown natural food to our visitors.
Alternatively self catering guests are welcome to use our kitchen or use the 6 bed bunkroom which has it's own kichen facilities.
Our more adventurous visitors book to Raft down the Rangitata,
Ski or snow board six different mountain ski fields,
experience the grandeur of the Lord of the Rings scenery with a four by four tour,
or fish for Trout or Salmon, while staying here in Peel Forest.
Here at Peel Forest farmstay while wandering around our grounds
you can hand feed free-range ducks, chickens, horses, cows, sheep and other animals.
Canoe our pond, explore the wetland area,
and possibly even go for a spot of ice skating in July and August.
NB We are a Christian home and our policy is: unmarried guests sleep in separate rooms.
