Follow Highway 6 into Franz Josef. Take a turn at the Petrol Station and we are at the end of the road on Cron Street.

By air:

The closest International Airport is Christ Church and it’s about 5 hours drive. You can take the “Atomic Shuttle” (door-to-door service) which will bring you straight to the hostel for about 65 New Zealand Dollars per person/per way.

The closest Domestic Airport is Hokitika, about 1.5 hour drive from Franz Joseph. A shuttle service will cost about 35 NZD per person/per way.
