Welcome to Montrose Accommodation and Backpackers. Nestled in the heart of Franz Josef Glacier Village, we are only a stones throw away from all the shops and activities available to you. This is a fun hostel for independent travelers/ families and groups.
Here at Montrose Accommodation and Backpackers, we offer clean, warm, modern, affordable accommodation, to fit all kinds of budgets. Surrounded by abundant rainforest and stunning mountain views we are a great choice for a place to stop for a night or two.
Our friendly staff are ready to give you advice on what to do in and around the Westland National Park. After a whole day of fun you can enjoy a good kiwi style BBQ in our covered outdoor BBQ area or jump in the sauna to rejuvenate your body!
We have spacious communal areas with large screen TVs, comfortable beds with linen provided, central heating, laundry facilities and well equipped kitchens
The en-suite rooms have a TV and video player, towels and linen provided.
Plus you get all this for free: 24 hour Internet, Tea/coffee, BBQ, sauna, bag storage, herb garden, CD burning & movie library. Bookings office, off street parking, modern en-suite rooms and female only share rooms available & great hot showers.
