Introducing the newest backpacker hostel in Christchurch City, The Coachman on the Square. Centrally located adjacent to Cathedral Square, this delightful boutique-like hostel has everything to offer the discerning traveller.
We have a selection of dorms, singles, twins, double and queen rooms to choose from, most with own en-suite and access to two modern fully-fitted kitchens and huge lounge/bar area. Female dorms available.
Enjoy your stay in the garden city in our newly-refurbished accommodation in the city centre, conveniently located close to shops, cafes, restaurants and with easy access to a variety of public transport.
Reception open for check-ins from 7:00 a.m. until 23:00 p.m. daily, arrivals outside these hours only by prior arrangement.

All brand new and with high quality mattresses, our beds are ultra comfortable. Linen is provided and the beds are fully made.
•En-suites and shower blocks
All of our showers, toilets and basins are new.
•Kitchens
Our two kitchens have all new and modern appliances, cooking ware and utensils.
•Lounge
Our large, communal lounge has modern furniture, pool table, games including giant chess, book swap, Sky TV and house bar. Internet access is available.
•Laundry Facilities
We have modern coin-operated machines and laundry powder is available for purchase at reception.
•Bar
We have licensed guests only bar with hot, cold beverages and snacks available.
