kelly hollowaynot one of the best bases-and ive stayed at them all, showers were a bit rubbish but the kitchen is fairly well equipped. its your bog standard base-there are better. it has best location and for this reason alone id recommend it but for character and facilities id stay at the converted prison again-its a bit out of the way but its a nice walk through the park to the town and not far. |

Customer reviewI was illy informed that this place was soo bad that it needed to be knocked down...what a load of rubbish. We had a double room and it was clean, we had fresh towels (which is not common in hostels) and it's a very central location. We will be staying here once we have finished our tour of the South island |
