Liked: Near the McDonald and a mall. only 10-15 minutes walk. You can do a little shopping, exchange your currency and buy some foods here.

Disliked: Lack of facilities and located outside the central city.

Liked: The atmosphere is very nice and quiet. There is a cozy garden and a little kitchen. Shopping facilities are around and the connection to the city center is alright.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The owners seemed to be friendly.

Disliked: The owners don't describe there hostel online accurately and they're rarely available at the hostel to assist you (even to let you in).

Liked: the friendly owner!I had a nightmare finding the place because of the city being closed off. Irinka took me to the local shop and made me feel really welcome.

Disliked: The noise outside. The area is pretty rough.

Liked: They pick you up in the city, the only good thing.

Disliked: Almost everything...the pictures does not show the reallity. It is not clean, cold and the managers are not very polite.

Liked: The staff, the couch in the room, the free internet (public), free milk.

Disliked: There isnt a comunal aera besides the kitchen which is just like a house kitchen.

Liked: That the staff drove me to the bus station and the toilet facilities were good.

Disliked: Many things. Lots of cats were running around on the tables, among the clean dishes and that was just discusting. I didn't feel very comfortable and lots of old men came in and out of the house, like they were staying there permanent. And it is so far away from the centre.

Liked: the owners were nice, and arranged out pick up and drop off at the station

Disliked: not been decorated for decades, cats all over the place-including all over the towels provided and on the beds, didnt exactly seem the safest of areas to be located, one of the bunk beds in the dorm was held together with sellotape! seems more a longstay place than for backpackers

Liked: The owner was helpful and talkative. Towels were included.

Disliked: It looks very run down in places, but it is not dirty (although there are cats around). The bathroom was clean. It was cold inside, and freezing in the bathroom at night.

Liked: This is a very homely backpackers, ?I ended up staying an extra two nights and even got a free piece of home made cake!

Disliked: It's pretty cold but to be fair I have just left tropical Cairns and it is winter here so that could just be me.

Liked: Happy to get a ride from bus stop for free. Not bad.

Disliked: Lack of eftpos and working internet. Basic but you get what you pay for.

Liked: The owners were extremely friendly and very helpful. They picked me up from the airport late at night and again drove me to the bus stop early the next morning. Very personable.

Disliked: Mosquitoes in the bathroom...!

Liked: Friendly hostel, do it yourself, easy going. No troubles, no complains. Just feel free to enjoy it! Great kitchen ready for your recipes!

Disliked: a bit mess in the living room, but it isn't a big trouble for me!

Liked: Nothing except for the price

Disliked: Noisy ... far from the center of town ... the rooms haven't been painted since 1972 ... musty and damp in the rooms ... our room had not been cleaned when we arrived at 4 pm

Disliked: not very clean......not fresh linen and towels...kitchen was a mess. however bathroom and toilets clean.

Liked: It's awsome...loved it have extended our stay. There are tvs in the dorm rooms as well as common area. This hostel is very chilled and laid back and the couple who run the place are extremely friendly and helpful Everything is exceptionally clean in the bathrooms. Would deffinitely go back. Absolutely excellent value for money!

Disliked: Kitchen is quite small but its manageable
