About Uenuku Lodge

Our lodge is a small, comfortable and clean house, and is the only backpackers’ situated right on famous Ponsonby Road, Auckland's trendiest multicultural suburb with many varied and interesting boutiques, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars…everything to make your stay colourful and lively. This central city suburb is great entertainment, both during the day and at night. Or if it’s time to chill out and rest before your next adventure you can enjoy the laidback environment at Uenuku Lodge. We also boast million dollar views of the city you just won’t get at other hostels, check out our cheap accommodation options for affordable options to suit any criteria.

It’s really really easy to access all the backpacker necessities like dairy and grocery stores, New World Supermarket, banks, a post office, a library, fruit and vegetable shops, bakeries, pharmacies - walk along Ponsonby Road and you’ll find one right away.

our place is very clean and tidy we have 2 Ensuite rooms also 4 rooms on 1st floor will offer you see views
and we have sinks in the room .new addition is free UNLIMITED WI FI from any where in the hostel and a computer in the lounge which is free to use.we have small herb garden at our back yard so that you can enjoy this organic fresh herbs .we have free parking also.

Location Information

All the city’s sightseeing and tourist attractions are easy to access using the local $1.90 ride on the Link bus. This service puts you in touch with the city centre and the inner city suburbs, including Victoria Park Market, Sky Tower, casino, Queen Street, Britomart Bus and Railway Station, Parnell, Newmarket, the Domain (Museum) and Karangahape Road (K- Road). Alternatively, it’s a lovely 20 minute walk to the city centre.

Going out of town? Uenuku Lodge is ideal for travellers who want easy access to the motorway and Harbour Bridge to continue their travels up North or to head down South.
