Liked: Reasonably comfy bed with card entry doors on rooms.

Disliked: The whole place needs updating and a thorough clean. You have to be up very early to get any hot water for a shower and you have to be a midget to wash your hair under the shower.

Liked: Good location, and potential for good facilities.

Disliked: kitchens, showers, toilets were all not clean at any stage of our stay. our room the second time we stayed did not have any ventilation at all. showers did not have hot water at one point and there were not enough showers/toilets for the number of people staying on our floor.

Liked: the location downtown, ok showers

Disliked: Messy kitchen, the toilet broke down, nobody fixed it for 24h, the door to our corridor was broken and open instead of locked (but was fixed after 36h of our arrival), kitchen wasn't clean

Liked: It had a really great atmosphere, met loads of people n had loads of fun. Lots of great prizes to be won every night in the bar n cheap drinks. One of my favorite hostels in Oz n NZ!!!

Liked: the location

Disliked: the rooms were dirty and overpriced for what they are, in comparison to many hostels we have stayed at. Even those we stayed in Asia were a lot cheaper and of a better standard.

Liked: Apartments for several rooms with own kitchens etc. Toilets and showers in seperate rooms, not many in one big room

Disliked: Noise of the bar when you want to sleep (couldn´t close window properly because it was broken) Only two plugs in one room for six persons Staff is sometimes bored/don´t want to give more information than the minimum Keycards to rooms always break, even if you keep them in your pocket and not near anything that makes them break --> it´s annoying to always run down to the reception (in pajamas/...) and tell them it´s broken again, they are annoyed by that themselves

Liked: It is in a good location close to town, the hostel is good if you want to party but if you dont then I wouldnt recommend it, it is very very loud, you dont get much sleep and there is never any hot water for showers!

Liked: Great location, close to everything in the heart of the city centre. 24 hr reception desk, friendly and helpful staff. We ended up booking extra nights there and 3 other Nomads hostels in Sydney, Cairns. Also liked their travel office.

Disliked: It was all good.

Liked: tout est vraiment clean ! le personnel est vraiment a l'ecoute ! il y'a une bonne ambiance !!! franchement n'hesitez pas !

Liked: Price was pretty low compared to other hostels around NZ.

Disliked: Lacked hot water, poor cooking facilities, tiny rooms, too many people.

Liked: Good setup with these apartment style dorms. Really does feel like a little apartment. Bar on site was good ( needed more money thou!)

Disliked: Irish guy who came in and threw up bits of steak on the floor. Admittedly this is not fat camels fault and they did throw him out after two nights, but by that time we had decided to move on. Also, lots of high charges for extra like washing and internet.

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: The place is run down. None of the showers worked, the oven door was in pieces. The budget room is below sub standard living conditions so we upgraded to a room which isn't great. The kitchen area was far to small and not well stocked with pots, pans, cups etc. The hostel rooms smell of damp also

Liked: Good location near bars and city center. nice bar at the hostel. friendly staff

Disliked: kitchen was dirty and only had few cups, plates etc. there wasn't any security lockers

Liked: Stayed in basic 8 bed dorm which was fine, tho bathroom and kitchen area could do with a deep clean!Security was ok although got the impression anyone could walk in for the free hostel meal and walk up the stairs to the common room!It was a bit quiet when we stayed, so the quiz was cancelled but we went out into town
