Liked: Beautiful linen. Hugely friendly and helpful staff. Female only area. Location.

Disliked: Inconsiderate people making lots of noise in corridors middle of night. Internet cafe keyboards worn out.

Liked: Great location, decent bedlinen - nice clean sheets! Lockers under each bed. Aircon!!!!

Disliked: Only 2 showers on my floor

Liked: Got upgraded from 8 dorm to double room! The location is real good, as central as you could get.

Disliked: The kitchen is not very functional. Couldnt find knives, cutting boards or can opener. No oven. Globe Bar downstairs gets pretty loud, and there is a party every night, so if you are working or anything it is gonna be a problem.

Liked: I liked that it was very central, the services for people who look for work or bus travelling and other activities for tourists, the TV lounge, the internet service and the laundry room.

Disliked: I hated the showers (seriouslly I got really mad when i saw them), I hated the kitchen utensiles. I didnt like that everything was so separated, instead of a cozy home feeling. I had to use the drying machines about 4 times because my jeans and socks wouldnt get dry. Its a very busy place and can get noisy at night. I've been in better hostels, much better.

Liked: Location was great right on Queen Street and also on the Airbus route as well. Internet was good and reasonably cheap.

Disliked: Rooms were very cramped. I booked a 4 bed dorm and it was very cramped with me and 3 other people in there.

Liked: Large hostel, very clean, great location

Liked: Staff were very helpful booking stuff and generally were pretty good to be around.

Disliked: The showers/bath rooms are poor. Also the ventilation is not good because there are no real windows (like an airport), there should be some windows on the reception floor so the place breathes a bit. That being said, these are not big problems.

Liked: Awesome location. Got a free upgrade from 4 persons dorm to private room with double bed! Know much about work&travel, things to do in the city. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: Bathrooms (toilets, showers) are disgusting - take shoes with your for the showers! Most of the ppl are there to party. Very thin walls.

Liked: Lots of facilities, really central location and right by the bus stop from the airport, staff were friendly and helpful

Disliked: There is a charge for breakfast and for wifi, and booking through hostelbookers made it more expensive than booking direct with the hostel

Disliked: very hard to find the hostel at first. better directions to new visitors should be given. only found the main enterance by chance when I was trying to leave the building. Also the toilets are in terrible condition, disgusting. The shower was also dodgy and changed from steaming hot to cold every 10 seconds. very disappointing facilities wise

Liked: Had a really nice room - was upgraded from what we booked online. Big kitchen and also 2 tv rooms.

Disliked: The lift system is a bit annoying - you have to use it and it takes a while to get to all of the floors. Also, you need a key card to get to some of the toilets which is also a bit of a faff. You also don't get free breakfast if you book with this website but you do with hostelworld.

Liked: The beds were good and the linen was soft and pretty. The location is pretty much opposite a Starbucks, a MacDonalds and the busstop for the airport shuttle. Right in the middle of Auckland's most famous shopping street. (As turned out a lot of other hostels were.) Near the female rooms was a little extra room with a couch and such for reading and chilling. And there's an elevator.

Disliked: I stayed in a female dorm, and on our floor, some of the bathroomlocks didn't work properly. Not to fond of the showers either, only hostel I've been in so far where I couldn't change into clothes of pj's in the shower, because the floor got too wet. They put up a sign to turn off the tap while brushing teeth etc, but haven't bothered (yet?) to repear the leaking one. No reading lights, only lights in the room were pretty bright, so when people were already in bed and you needed to get something from the room, you had no choice but to put the full lights on and bother everyone. And it's not that the people were unfriendly, not at all, but I missed the friendly fellow-traveller atmosphere that you sometimes get in (smaller) hostels.

Liked: Two tv rooms and a chill out area, plenty of computers in the internet cafe - although very expensive better to use an internet cafe in the city.

Disliked: The staff were rude and unhelpful, not easy to meet people if you justwant to get drunk with strangers every nightthis is the place for you. If you want to meet people and enjopy your stay, find another hostel.
