Liked: I can truly recommend the girls only floor. the beds and linen are clean and you have a wonderful big bathroom. It's almost luxury. And I really liked the bar and club there.

Liked: really well located hostel with loads of beds, too many in fact. the shear number of guests made it a pretty impersonal place, 12 beds packed into a room that should probably have no more than 8 and pretty dark rooms aswell.the bar attached was ok and the travel agent downstairs was very helpful. this place is a bit of a magnet for drunken teenagers.

Liked: I stayed on the girls floor and it was very clean and everything is new. The kitchen at the top of the hostel has amazing views (although the fridges could be slightly bigger). This hostel is in a brilliant location in the centre of Auckland and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun (it can be a bit noisy from the nightclubs nearby).
