About The Amber Apartment

The Amber Self Serviced Holiday Apartment in Amsterdam is a massive 4 bedroom apartment that accommodates up to 7 guests. It has charm as well as a super friendly staff! With it's very good location, the Red Light District, New Market and Dam Square is within walking distance for you to explore.

Being a monumental and authentic historic building comes with the original steep staircases. Beautiful, but not convenient for the elderly.

Accommodation Information

Open the door and be taken back from the apartments enchantment and size; 120 square meters! Checkered floors all over, on your right the fully equipped kitchen with all cooking amenities. Get ready for some family cooking! It's hard not to love this apartment.

Up ahead is the dining table with seating for 7. Here you will enjoy authentic Dutch style cuisine while conversing about your daily Amsterdam escapades. Feel like an Amsterdammer!

Kick back and relax on the elegant couch in the living room as well as on the arm chairs while enjoying the international channels or a nice DVD on your luxurious T.V. All adjoining rooms are the bedrooms which all have bedside tables and lamps as well as a closet wardrobe where you can put away your clothes. The big master has a double bed which sleeps two. Both the second and third bedroom have single beds and bedroom number 4 provides another three single beds totaling 7. The bathroom is separate and luxuriously outfitted with new fixtures and tiles. It goes without mentioning that all mattresses, pillows, sheets and blankets are provided and have passed the soft and fluffy tests.

Location Information

Dam Square lies in the historical center of Amsterdam, approximately 750 meters south of the main transportation hub, Centraal Station.

It links the streets Damrak and Rokin, which run along the original course of the Amstel River from Centraal Station to Muntplein (Mint Square).

The Dam also marks the endpoint of other well-traveled streets, Nieuwendijk, Kalverstraat and Damstraat. A short distance beyond the northeast corner lies the main red-light district, de Wallen.
