Liked: The hostel is safe and a bit away from the Damrak, so it's good! It won't be so noise at night time.

Liked: it was a real nice place to stay and the staff were more than happy to help with any queeries, very close to the train station and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Dam

Liked: Good beds, clean bathrooms. Girls dorm is right above the lounge area (loud music) and has windows that open onto the curb where everyone smokes cigarettes so it's very loud and smoky.

Liked: The staff here was horrible, not to mention discriminatory and definitely more than a little sketchy. For example, when I arrived to check in, I was about 30 minutes late, and when I told them I wanted to check in, they said it is a good thing you came now, we almost gave away your room. After 30 min? Really? Next in line was a group of women who asked if there was a room they could stay in, to which the staff replied, nope, all full. Not 10 minutes later, a group of men walk on up and ask the same, only to get 4 beds. Also, be sure to buy a lock at this place, even at the risk of losing the 10euro deposit for it. The rooms aren't fantastic, but if you only need a night, show up early, leave early, and don't bother with the staff.

Liked: The common room was a great place to meet people. Location was amazing - right in the center of everything! I also thought the continental breakfast was decent (eggs and toast).

Liked: Good location. I lived in a mixed room for 6 people, there is no toilet in the room, 3 small dorms share one tiny toilet. i cannot find a place to take bath in the whole building, maybe it is in another building. And the quilt is not folded well when i arrived, looks like someone else has slept in this bed. The sheet looks clean but old, somewhere broken.

Liked: Stayed in the second building around the corner with minimal atmosphere. Staff seemed annoyed to help me and was woken up and treated like cattle when 10:30am rolled around after I had paid for a second night earlier that morning.
