Liked: The location -- it's really near to the train station, only 5 minutes of walking. As in other hostels/b&bs in A'dam, the stair's very steep so it might be hard for difabled people. This property is actually an apartment, not really a hostel, so it's equipped with fully-functioned kitchen (complete with fridge, oven, microwave, pans, pots, plates, mugs, glasses, tea, sugar, and oil), iron, and hairdryer. The beds are in the attic so it's kinda cute. The bathroom is with a spacious bath tub, too. The owner provides the linen and towels. It may be pricier than "proper" hostel, but with the location and facilities, it's a good value for money, especially for those who are in group of five.
Disliked: The alley is small but crowded at times, and the noise penetrates the room, so you can hear voices and noises from the alley. There's a coffee shop right across the place so note that if that's what you're looking for (or not).
