great staff. bartenders definitely helped people to mingle and had great attitudes. one of the few establishments that served alcohol and allowed you smoke marajuana as well.

The Location is really really great, in the middle of the red light district - in the middle of amsterdam centrum - but safe! Coffeeshops, bars and clubs are next door. The people there are very laid back and it's a great place to stay when you want to party, chill and go sightseeing in amsterdam.

The Bar was fun - it was nice to have that attached to the hostel if you just wanted to chill or drink for the night. It had all that it needed.

The sercurity was very reassuring, with the buzzer door, swipe cards, safety box etc. But also just the atmosphere of the hostel and the bar was excellent. And the hospitality that Alan (manager) showed us was really appricetated, good bloke that makes you feel welcome.

The bar right next to Hostel is awesome, the rooms have lockers (not really that big though), the people you meet there are cool, you can smoke in the bar outisde your hostel, and it's pretty safe. The breakfast was weak though.

Location was so central it meant that we could return to the hostel throughout the day to clean up or rest for a bit . Luggage room meant that we did not have to worry about our bags when we first arrived or before it was time to leave. Again location meade thi easier.

I loved the friendly atmosphere of the staff, the dorms were perfect other than a squeeky bed (small sacrifice), i felt very at home and the food and drink was exceptional. You need to adjust your scale so it accomodates for excellent (not just good) service. This was my 3rd visit to the hostel and i am soon to become a regular visitor of Amsterdam and would ONLY use this hostel. Amazing place! Such a laugh...the staff were so lovely and entertaining...great location, exceptional value for money and nice a clean, everything you need in one palce!

Location is FANTASTIC! Right in the heart of the craziness of Amsterdam. The staff were helpful and friendly and it had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Our room was right by a main alley and was quite noisy but it was all part of the experience. Everything was very accessible - central station, hiring bikes, red light district, tram stops, shopping - all on our doorstep. Their beer garden looks like it would be great in summer!
