Shower and Toilet were in the room, so when there are late night comers, well, lots of noise in the middle of the night...

The hostel was in THE BEST location right in the centre of it all. the staff were friendly and helpful, the bar in the hostel was a great way to meet ppl, with cheap drinks and drink specials! Awesome hostel.

The location (very central from any main touristy attraction), the outdoor terrace (although it is a shame it is closed most of the times), the pick-up for the free tour (quite good actually), the lockers for the luggage & breakfast buffet are quite decent. Linens are rather clean and security is good...oh and the fire alarm works well so for those of you guys who intend to smoke at 3am in your room, bad idea. Fire drill makes a lot of grumpy people at this time of the night.
The staff ranges to either really friendly and helpful to thick & super loony depending of the time of the day-night you checked in at the reception (you need to go there every time you want to go to your room since the door is locked).

Free breakfast was great - the showers weren't the best, but the had nice water pressure (always a plus!). Located practically IN the Red Light District, which is good for those who like to head out at night. For daytime tourists, the location near the main square was really handy.

The bar and the staff were excelent! the location was perfect. I really don't understand why the hostell wasn't fully booked all the time! breakfast was ok. pretty simple but good enough for me. not many hostels which offer any breakfast at all! wouldn't reccomend for old people, or people with family allthough i saw some of those also, but they looked allright and happy for my suprise. Great place to stay for your visit at amsterdam!

Good music at the reception bar...hot guys serving...interesting rooms...but they have to work on their comunications skills and that narrow minded manager...they forgot that being human is more important then money

VERY helpful and friendly staff, best deal for the location, Free breakfast is great! I even showed up a bit late once and they gave me something :). Younger crowd (20-30yrs) . I felt it was quiet in the room even with the bar being downstairs. Highly recommended for a couple of nights.
