Liked: Centrally located Funky room! Clean facilities.

Disliked: This is a really noisy hostel at night. Good luck sleeping. Lots of drunk tourists making nose in the street at night. They have free earplugs at the reception. Also, no internet. A little bit expensive for what it was...

Liked: Location and price were what I looked for in priority. This hostel did well at both. Upon arriving I found out it also has a great staff as well as a friendly and safe atmosphere.

Disliked: At night it can be noisy, but there are complimentary free ear plugs if you ask.

Liked: Fun bar, friendly staff, spacious ensuite, plenty of space in room also. Good decor, character and atmosphere.

Disliked: Very noisy (could hear bass all night when the club was open, and shouting from the street - take earplugs!)

Liked: The dorms were clean, especially the bathroom, the staff were very helpful, the location was excellent and overall it was a brilliant place to stay :)

Liked: Great Location.. You can always find it again easily. Not too many steps to your rooms or social areas. The Smoking Areas are a huge bonus. Staff are really friendly & helpful. Food & Drink Offers are amazing- no point looking for anywhere better for value!

Disliked: I think it would have been better if staff told you more about what to do while in Amsterdam.. Maybe a pub crawl leaving from the hostel would be better .. If you are sharing a room it would be good to have more than one key to share.

Liked: The hotel has an excellent location for the red light district and Dam Square, you could spit to both. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The hotel looks impressive from the outside and on entering building it had the feel of an english pub. There's a pool table and smoking area which was screened off, and a nice bar with some typical bar snacks available i.e. nachos, burgers, chicken wings etc. There are lots of secure lockers (large and small) contained within the reception area operarted by a touch screen pay point. A large one cost €4 for the whole day. Public toilets were clean and free. My mate and I booked a private twin ensuite, which was fairly small but essentially, it was clean and perfectly adequate for our booze fuelled night. Bed, linen, toilet and bathroom were all clean. The ensuite was so small you could brush your teeth while having a no.2, but the shower was surprisingly good, hot and powerful. . The decor of the room was a bit crap, but it was just a bit of fun really, it being the Technology Room. We weren't issued with the free ear plugs, as we were off the street level on the 2nd floor. I would definately stay here again. It ticked all my boxes anyway.

Disliked: I can't think of anything to knock really, so I'm not going to try.

Liked: Good location, one block of the red light, two blocks from the bulldogs pub, the coffee was very nice i ate a lot.

Disliked: Told that the liquid soap finiched the reception took note, but nothing happen in the another day the same problem. I hoped that and the bin was tanged every day, but the bin that we put the first day stayed there for 2 day.
