Liked: It was the perfect location, very nice and clean, a great layout and fun to stay here! I would reccomend to anyone looking for more than just a hotel or hostel room.

Disliked: It is part of a bigger apartment so it is not exclusively your apartment, but this was never a problem for us.

Liked: This place is amazing!! Not like other hostels, much more private and quiet. Amazing location, great room and bathroom, and SO clean!! You are located close to everything in Amsterdam! Tons of restaurants, bars, and sightseeing! Highly recommend Alexander guest rooms!!!

Liked: Excellent location and extremely clean! Alexander was also very helpful and accomodating, really enjoyed our stay here :) We stayed at Leidseplein, did not have any difficulties with the shared toilet. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: As soon as I got there I have seen that I was infomed right about the place I was going to stay. Room was clean, location was very good, Alex was very friendly and kind. I will definitely stay there again!

Liked: We loved the location and the facilities: bathroom, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The room was really comfortable, clean, and convenient. Moreover, the wifi was really fast, much better than in most of the hostels we'be been to. It is located just around the corner of the museums, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. The staff were friendly and helpful, and he was waiting for us at our arrival.

Disliked: One of the disadvantages of such a central location was the bar downstairs; although our window gave onto a quiet yard, we could still feel the vibrations from the music. Not too annoying, though, since we are heavy sleepers. Also, we didn't realized the payment had to me made in cash upon arrival, and that was quite inconvenient.

Liked: The location of all the apartments is really good. They were clean and had various facilities on offer in each room. Beds were comfy and the black out blinds in each room were great.

Disliked: There wasn't much that we disliked. The only thing i would say it its smells abit smokey and you can hear music etc from the apartment above.

Liked: Nice and clean room, great location, quite area, plus the owner is very hospitable. Definately staying here in my next amsterdam visit!

Liked: Excellent location, very close to Dam Square and only a short walk to Niewmarket. It was very clean and tidy and Alexander the owner was extremely friendly and helpful upon our arrival.

Disliked: The condemned lift. As the first set of stairs were a bit scary with no banister.

Liked: Alexander Guestrooms was beautiful with everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Alexander was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was in a good location for us, we could walk anywhere easy and it was close to the Museumplein and another attractions. Thank you Alexander.

Liked: Alexander's place is wonderful It was very clean, comfortable and had great amenities. The view of the canal is stunning and the neighborhood is very nice. The location is just fantastic, close to a lot of good restaurants, cafés and sights. Host met us and went through all the necessary items we needed, We would highly recommend this accomodation to any of my friends, we felt right at home.

Liked: It is centrally located hostel so we didnt expect quiet place but we were truly surprised because we had quiet room in the back. Not so much for the canal view but we had very good sleep even though there was a party over night :-) Alex told us about it in advance so we were prepared with lots of beers and wine :-)

Liked: This is a flat located in the center of Amsterdam, near the most important museums of the city. With the tram is very easy an fast to go to the very center (Dam square); this is a really strategic location, the best choice where to spend my days; the place around is full of restaurants and night life and anyway it's a safe and quiet location: no strange noises or screams at night. The owner is very polite and nice, he can help you for everything. Nothing more to add, just go there and enjoy Amsterdam!
