Liked: For the price we paid, most things exceeded our expectations e.g. warmth, breakfast, beds, size, tv in our room etc.

Disliked: Location was a bit far, but close access to trams. Our friends would were put in a different shared room for the same price of our private room, but they were crammed into a smaler room with no tv with strangers. Also the price had changed when we got there - the total was €42, but had paid €4.2 for the 10% "deposit" so we were expecting to pay around €38 when we got there, but we ended up paying €44 when we got there.

Liked: I was in an 8-bed room. It was a bit crowded, but the en suite bathroom was convenient. the breakfast was also pretty good. Location was good enough - we walked everywhere.

Disliked: I left my key card at the desk one night when I went out, as they request. When I got back, the man at the desk (I think the owner?) told me that I would need to open my room then bring the card back because it was the last card for the room. Apparently, I wasn't allowed to have my own card as I was in a dorm, even though I had been given the card earlier in the afternoon and no one told me I'd have to share it. When I went up to the room everyone was already back for the night, so I clearly didn't need to return the card. There were a few other times he didn't seem very friendly. Otherwise, the hostel is a good place to sleep.

Liked: Its a nice Hotel, the breakfest its really amazing! Its next to Van Gogh's Museum. This is good, but to go to the center its 30 minutes walking! Nice rooms, with tv, the staff clean everything and change the towels everyday.

Disliked: The Wifi don't work in the rooms, just in the stairs or in the living room of the hotel. The luggage locker could be use by anybody, from inside or OUTSIDE from the hotel! They don't ask any ID or something to show that you are staying in the hotel, so anybody could go there ask for the key and steal the bags or something inside...

Liked: Easily accessible...very convient location close to tramline but quiet.

Disliked: Room was smelly due to bad drains. Other guests were loud at night.

Liked: I really enjoyed staying here, we had a private room on the top floor that caught the sun and had great views. And with free breakfast it is a really good place to stay. I enjoyed staying in the peaceful museum area too, but if you are a party animal you might want to stay closer to town.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Free breakfast. Free Wifi

Disliked: Disgustingly dirty room and bathroom Mainly caused by some disgusting guests in my dorm but still the occasional clean might help? Oh and the place is called Inner Hotel, not inner Amsterdam if you're looking for it.

Liked: accomodation was very good, nice location, good service and an excellent breakfast price-quality ratio couldn't be any better

Disliked: If there would be a minor dislike, wich took me a while to find one, I would say the speed of the internet connection on the 2 main computers near the window.

Disliked: The rooms were very small for 6 people to live in. They were stuffy, no air, no cleaning. I have to sle ep with 5 dirty boys.

Liked: The location was great for the museums and the rooms were exactly as advertised, there were no hidden downsides. Having a hotel after staying in hostels for weeks was a refreshing break.

Disliked: The bathroom smelt a little gross, though that may be an Amsterdam thing, so the room smelt weird, you soon got used to it and were able to ignore it though.

Disliked: Internet is only available in the lobby and the common area is very small, so few people meet.

Liked: Very nice, clean hostel in a restful location but still near the city centre. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who needs short accommodation in Amsterdam.

Disliked: I would say that rooms may be a little bit too smalle for a six person if everyone has lots of luggage (big suitcase or even two, backbag, laptop bag...)

Disliked: it smelt really bad when we arrived but after a few days there it disapeared.

Disliked: The floor make noise(it is old I think...), so when your neighbors upstairs walk, you can hear.

Liked: Located a bit further out of the centre of town - but nice location if you need a quiet place to sleep. The internet was fast and the breakfast wasn't bad. It's a pretty cheap hostel and you really get what you pay for. Had a safe in each room, which was useful.

Disliked: When we arrived, the reception smelled horrendous - mostly of sewage. I'm not sure if it's like that all the time, but the receptionist did not even apologise. It seemed as if there was no rush to sort it out, as the smell got progressively worse and started to invade our room - there was even the smell of sewage coming from our sink! It was so bad, it kept me up the whole of one night. Only the beds were made during our stay there, and the cleaner did not bother to sweep the floor (there was so much hair and general dust everywhere). The dorm was extremely hot at night and only had a small window for ventilation. Wouldn't stay here again.
