 very friendly staff, not too far from leidseplein (one of the nice places to hang out), quite quiet and last but not least... free breakfast!

Excellent location close to the Rijksmuseum & Van Gogh Museum, as well as the Vondel Park. Easy transport to the very centre, while being in a quieter part of town. Clean rooms, good small bar and free internet. A good deal!

There was no good place to hang out and meet people other than the dining room. The computers weren't really working when I was there. But, breakfast had a pretty good variety of options so that was appreciated.

There was a group of us and we hired out 2 rooms of six and eight beds. The 6 bed doorm was nice although i know the other room was pretty squished and had a broken bed. The ensuite bathrooms were nice and clean.
The heating was great, clean towels every day, breakfast included ham, eggs, salami, cereals, juices etc.....we made sandwiches every morning and saved money on lunch later.
Security was a joke, you walk into the hostel, say the number of your room and the key is just handed over...to anyone. Didn't have any problems, although once we realised this we didn't leave any valuables in our room.

I was very satisfied with my room, internet is perfect, bar and possibility to get drink is great. I was honestly happy :o) I would probably choose this hostel if I come back as I hope so

Really good location, and it uses keycards. The rooms were small but the beds were comfortable. I found my bathroom dirty, but I blame it on the fact that the people I shared a room with were slobs. Free internet, and FABULOUS breakfast included, plus all sheets and towels included too- I would say this is your absolute best bet to stay in Amsterdam, hands down.
