Liked: The bar was a cool place to meet people and they have a great happy hour. The location is fine it is just a little hard to find at first. They only problem was it was too hot all the time, and not enough security lockers for valuables. Otherwise great place to meet other travelers and have a great time.

Liked: the young people, that is forbidden smoking and making noise around the hostel, the cleaningness. oh, and the breakfast is great!

Liked: The location is a bit away from the city center and closer to the Van Gogh museum which is not far. Everywhere is accessible by the tram car and the hostel is only about a 15 min tram ride away from Centraal Station. Their breakfasts are AMAZING. They have the one of the best breakfasts for a hostel. Trust me. Their rooms are very clean and new with the bathrooms in the bedrooms.

Liked: Rooms and breakfast were extraordinary!! Only bad thing: Just one key per room - need to wake up your roomies if you come late. This should be changed, then this hostel will be Amsterdam's best!

Liked: The rooms were nice and looks like they were doing a lot to renovate. The location was decent, right near the museums but off the street so not really loud. It is not in the heart of the city but close and easy to get there via public transportation. Nice little bar that people were hanging out at in the evening and the breakfast that they provided was big compared to other hostels with a large seating area.
