Liked: Great location, quiet street. Good breakfast and communal areas.

Disliked: The room was the size of 2 bunk beds and no more, hardly room to move. ' 'Sleeping ' is really all that could be done in there.

Liked: This is a nice hostel with everything that a traveller needs (Wi-Fi, storage room, decent breakfast, ensute bathrooms) for an unbeatable price (25 euro looks weirdly low for Amsterdam). I would definitely recommend you to stay here if you just need a place to stay overnight with basic facilities.

Disliked: The lock of the door to the bathroom was broken, so I relied on the discretion of my roommates when taking a shower.

Liked: THe location is next to perfect. If you're interested in culture and center, or any other things in Amsterdam, you can easily reach within minutes. I didn't really use public transport besides going to and from railway station. Breakfast had a relatively wide choice of food, which is not often found in hostels.

Disliked: That was one of the most expensive hostels I stayed in (a bed 40 euro per night), but not much different from others that cost twice as low (around 20 euro). Didn't see real diference. The stuff was not always that much helpful, but sometimes tried to be. Also the description of how to find them was somehow misleading...

Liked: The breakfast included in the price of the room was pretty good. THe location is excellent for the Van Gogh museum and only half an hour away on foot from the centre. It is in a really beautiul residential areas with cafes near by. The room was decent and pretty clean.

Disliked: Although the room was alright it was very small and the bathroom got pretty wet after even one shower. It was also incredibly hot in the room as there was no air conditioning and a window that didn't open very far. The staff were also not that helpful. There wasn't a good atmosphere in the hotel as there was no common area so no one mixed.

Liked: Atmosphere in the room is quite good. Receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Luggage room was very dirty and crowded. Lobby have no enough space to wait when many people were checking in.

Liked: This hotel is very beatifull. Location near two parks, at 30 minutes to center on foot, rooms is very clean (but if your neighbours is good and like cleanlinnes), beatiful breakfast at the smorgasboard, during day can use kitchen.

Liked: The location, it was a really nice area and that was the only thing that the hostel had going for it.

Disliked: The staff were really rude, first they messed up our payment and under charged us.I pointed this out but they didn't agree, they must have then worked out i was right and chased us for a few hours demanding payment even though it was their mistake. They were also unwilling to help with advise for the local area. We asked for a nice place to eat and they said nothing was here etc and then ignored anymore questions, we did find a lovely place to eat just round the corner. We had a broken fan in our room, the bathroom was so dirty and the shower was broken so the bathroom got drench every time someone use it.

Liked: Quiet had safety deposit boxes in reception and lolable luggage room.

Disliked: It was a bit too far from the centre and there was no atmosphere what so ever. Staff seemed reluctant to offer any advice on what to do and best places to go. Shower door didn't close so hole bathroom floor got wet. Rooms small and cramped.

Liked: - free map offered.

Disliked: - The staff was not helpful and were very rude. - dirty rooms (there were some footprints in the toilet and bath) - You have to wait more than 10 min to fill up the flash tank after each use and it is very noisy. - Wifi internet just covers the reception area (not whole the rooms). - very long distance to city center; It is far away 60 min walking (and 25 min by tram) from central station (city center) - during the night our room was very noisy because of lack of good insulation. - very small rooms (more than 60% of the room was occupied by the bed!) - no air conditioning system and no fan! (to ease breathing you have to open the window, even if it is very noisy outside!) - no shampoo.

Liked: Very clean, safe and quiet. Beautiful streets. Good location if you are interested in the galleries and not being too close to the dodgy side of town. Amazing breakfast included in the price. If I choose to come to Amsterdam again I will stay here.

Disliked: Nothing I could think of. It was great.

Liked: Staff were helpful, and the location was good.

Disliked: It was far too overpriced. The 6 bed dorm was too small; I think it should have only had 4 beds in it. There wasn't really a communal area to meet people, and just too impersonal.
