Liked: The hostel was really clean and the staff extremely friendly. There are 4 tram stops around the corner so it is easy to get all over the city. Plus the Van Gough Museum and the Cocktail Museum (highly recommended) are just down the street.

Liked: We rented a private room for four people with toilet and shower. Price was okay and It was clean. Got kicked out of the room by the cleaning personal at 10am even though the reception staff told us the night before that we had until 12 to check out.

Liked: good hostel, except I was robbed while I was there - lockers in the dorms probably would have prevented that. but one staff member went out of her way to ensure my friend and I could room together, and got us a room upgrade which was nice.

Liked: Great location & very safe - minutes away from the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.. walking distance from the Canal districts and center of town. The fact that it wasn't right in the center was not at all an inconvenience, and contributed to how safe the hostel felt.

Liked: Despite they are getting old and used, the rooms are clean. The staff is helpful and welcoming but, sometimes, it can be hard to get a little smile. It's a good place to stay though.

Liked: The ONLY bad thing about this hostel was that in the 4 person private room there are no windows--meaning no ventilation. Ohther than that it was an awesome stay and great price!!!

Liked: This was a highl suitable place for me to stay - close to trams and buses and the museums. Can walk into the old city and to other sights. It was clean and tidy. The breakfast was average but sustained me through to lunch.
