Liked: The rooms are quite small, but definately not too much of a problem. If you get really hot at night then bring a fan, because in Summer the room gets really hot. Buffet breakfast was pretty average but who can complain when it is free and still fills you for the day. I was annoyed about the WiFi internet as it has been broken this past week and there are only two computers to keep in contact with friends and family, but that is meant to be getting fixed today. Overall a really enjoyable stay, and after you know your way around the hostel is within walking distance to the Dam and the Red Light District, which is where most people go for a night out!

Liked: The hotel was nice and clean. The only complaints are that the staff wasn't very friendly or helpful at check in and the breakfast was not good at all, but these are minor details. I would definitely recommend staying here, it's in a good location and very safe.

Liked: Bathrooms,bedsheets are very clean,bads are comfortable and furniture are new.Good price.Rooms are ok,but be careful,there are some rooms without windows,it can be a huge problem if you have claustrophobia!! But the staff is very nice and the guy placed me in another room at 3am because i couldnt stay in the room without window.Have a nice common area to chill out.Location is good,not exactly in the center but not outside of the city.5min walk to the Van gogh museum.Around 10 minutes to the city center by tram but you can also walk.Great breakfast,eat as much as you can:) I would certainly recommend this hostel to all the Amsterdam visitors!

Liked: Good location for touristy stuff but not the best 4 nightlife! Its right beside the tram though so everywhere was accessible!

Liked: It was simple and it offered included breakfast. the Staff would help only when asked, but very nice. I would've liked to have a locker to safely store me valuable though. Good location: 400 meters from Van Gough museam and a short walk to vondel park and a short bike ride or tram ride to central station. Offers the basic essentials a hostel needs.

Liked: I stayed in a twin room. Honestly, it was very very small i think about 9m2 maybe my room was smaller than that. Servants dont make the bed, or they do it badly. Breakfast was good.

Liked: really great breakfast.staff had a real problems with giving out bed numbers, we were given bed numbers when we got there only to find out someone was in our bed, so changed bed numbers with reception. went out that night, came home to find someone in my bed.. not fun at 3am.MAKE SURE U GET THE CORRECT BED.

Liked: had free internet which is a bonus, the rooms were a bit cramped but did the job, location was quite good and free breakfast was good and a big bonus!
