Liked: I liked the fact that the internet was free, that's about it. They did nothing to try and improve conditions and my stay there. And lockers in the rooms are not too much to ask for. Evidently there are lots of thieves there because they tell you to watch your stuff throughout the place.

Liked: We stayed 2 nights at the Inner Amsterdam and I can recommand it as far as possible.Many sights are located in short distance and the train/bus connection is very good.The rooms were absolutely clean and well furnished, as well as the breakfast was ok for the price.Te were just upset about the stuff:Most of them made an uninterested and unhelpful impression and tried to attend us as fast as possible.However, all in all recommandable.

Liked: Well everything was perfect except the room I stayed with my friend(I mean the non shared room). The room I stayed in was like a prison actually without any windows. I didn't really care because I didn't spend many time inside. Except that as I told it before everything else was perfect specially the staff was amazingly helpful.

Liked: We only stayed one night but the room was built around the bed. Cable TV was great. There is a bus stop very close to get you to the airport.

Liked: Great location right near the concert hall, all the museums and most attractions. People were nice, very relaxed atmosphere. My bed did strangely smell of sweat, but none of the 3 people i stayed there with had this problem, so it was probably a one time phenomenon and shouldn't discourage you. Again, great location

Liked: the staff were great, even helped me carry my worse for wear mate in & got the lift for us( & all in the wee hours). brekkie was ample as weel, meats, cheese, cereal & boiled eggs etc, really set me up for the day. free safety deposit box was another bonus & staff helped out when i forgot the number to get into it. room was small & basic (i had the 6 beb private en-suite dorm) but had all we needed & was clean. the hostel is close to the tram stop which gave easy access to the centre of town. it was also 2 mins from leids plein (if that is how it is spelt) which is great.i feel i got more than my money's worth as we only paid £16 a night.would definetly recomend this place for somewhere to lay your head whilst enjoying amsterdam
