Liked: Well presented warm and clean room on ground floor. Excellent shower. Very comfortable mattresses on all beds. Good breakfast. Very good value for money.

Disliked: Thin walls separating rooms meant loud neighbours woke my husband and I a few times each night. However, my sister is a very heavy sleeper and didn't notice.

Liked: buena ubicación,el Internet esta gratis y el desayuno fue básico pero incluido en el precio.

Disliked: llega por la noche y el señor de la recepción solo quería dormir y que le dejare en paz. falta servicio y falta mas amabilidad de la gente. mi habitación ubicado en la planta baja y SIN VENTANA,faltaba ventilación!!

Liked: Free Wi-FI and internet access on ground floor. Cleanliness wasvery good. Free safe in the room.

Disliked: The location was rubbish, if you want to go visit Van Gogh musuem fair enough. If your with a group of lads and gone for a good time to drink and smoke then it is in a rubbish location to where all the action is!

Liked: Clean, nice staff, good location next to Museumplein and several bus/tram stops, towels were changed everyday, good value for price.

Disliked: Very loud at night.

Liked: The location was great - in a nice neighbourhood only about a 20 minute walk/ 5 minute tram ride from Dam Square & Leidseplein. Within walking distance to many great museums and art galleries. There was free-to-use internet, a decent free breakfast, and very very comfortable beds.

Disliked: As many good points as this place has, one thing I really hated was that there are no windows in the rooms!! Maybe the private rooms have them, but my friends and I were spread over 2 dorm rooms, neither of which had windows. I can't stress how much I hated not having any natural light coming in when I woke up in the morning.

Disliked: Dirty and gloomy Inhospitable A lot of noise during the night - freaky Non-mixed dorms (not mentionned when booking) Did not mention the 5% tax properly

Liked: The beds were very comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. There were computers that were free to use and provided internet.

Disliked: There weren't any large lockers to safely secure belongings in the rooms.

Liked: It's close to Amsterdam Zuid station, the tram stop is about a 2 min walking distant from hostel. Tram stop right near van gogh museum. Supermarket near by. Towels were changed every day. Hostel was warm and a save in the cupboard for important travel documents.

Disliked: Some of the stuff weren't confident in there knowledge on how to get to the airport. Sone staff members were a bit cold towards us upon arrival. An another sent us on a wild goose chase to find a self service laundry matte that didn't exist where he drew it on the map.

Liked: I thought the staff were friendly and helpful. Myself and my partner paid a little bit extra to get our ensuite which was worth the price and the beds were so comfortable. I like you how you get a free safe in the room to put your documents and personal belongings in. Also, free Internet and wifi to browse. I would recommend for other people to stay here as the room was very clean and the breakfast is basic but it caters for everyone.

Disliked: The hotel was in need of new carpets in the hallways, but you can't fault this place for that as the staff do clean everyday. The hotel was a bit noisy at times butyurt again you can't control how loud people are being.

Liked: As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a friendly member of staff who answers all your questions about both the hotel and Amsterdam itself!

Disliked: In the winter, it can be a bit chilly, so be sure to pack a jumper or two!

Liked: Its location,staff,good honest breakfast,my room was completely renovated so very clean (room 107). NO SMOKING POLICY

Disliked: THE TRUTH IS THAT FOR TWO NIGHTS STAY BEING OUT MOST OF THE DAY AND NIGHT IT IS HARD TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING, IT IS WHAT IT IS, A PLACE TO SLEEP COMFORTABLY AND ECONOMICALLY.

Liked: Breakfast included was excellent. Not a vast selection but simple continental breakfast and cereal is plenty and you can help yourself to as much as you want. Rooms were clean and a lot more comfortable than I anticipated for the price. If you're happy to just have somewhere to sleep and chill out after a day exploring Amsterdam its an ideal hostel. Hostel is situated in a very safe area, the location is great for visiting the museums, Vondel Park and Leidseplein,

Disliked: There is a bar in the hostel, but it seems its only used during the busier times of the year. If you're walking Amsterdam as we were it can take you a while to get all the way up to the centre of the town (better to get a tram or hire a bike).

Liked: the location, thats it. it did offer free interent-but never worked and when it did was super slow and there was only two computers. however we still really enjoyed our stay here because if your not fussy then its all you need and the location really is perfect. the rooms were really dark, could sleep in and have no idea if its day or night!the one member of staff i dealt with was great-he helped me out when the chicks in our dorm started throwing up everywhere coz they couldnt handle the spacecakes..he had alot of patience

Disliked: no kitchen,no common room (good luck meeting people..), hardest stairs in the world to carry luggage up, one pathetic shower for the whole place!! (didnt shower once whilst was there..) tiny room-we were in dorm of four and our backpacks didnt all fit in. pricey for not much

Liked: Hello, Me and my girlfriend stayed here in November. We were a bit anxious as we had no knowledge of the hotel but when we arrived we were very pleased. We had a private double with ensuite and it was very clean with fresh towels being supplied daily and hot showers. The staff were very helpful with providing information on trams, tours etc The hotel was situated beside the van gogh museam tram stop and was a short 10min trip via tram to Dam Square. Overall, a very pleasant, comfortable stay. Staff were great and value for money was excellant, would definately recommend again.

Disliked: The only negative I had, personally, was with the breakfast supplied. Being an Irish lad, I prefer a warm breakfast to start me off in the morning instead a continental breakfast was prepared. My girlfriend loved it though.
