Liked: Helpful staff, central - ish location, great breakfast

Disliked: Room was a touch small. but it was only for 2 nights so wasnt an issue

Liked: very helpful and friendly staff, could answer any questions we had, and gave us information on sightseeing and the best way to travel, very clean compared to many hostels we have stayed in.

Disliked: not a lot of character, bar wasn't open

Disliked: The location is a bit out of the way of the main center of amsterdam. It is close to a few museums, if that's your thing.

Liked: inner amsterdam hostel was so much closer to the centre that we had thought, which made it the perfect location for a weekend in amsterdam..

Disliked: the sink in our room was blocked from the moment we arrived. nothing was done to fix it, even though we informed the staff. good job the shower was good!

Liked: For those wanting to have a good time in amsterdam but avoid the party hostels, this is a good place to stay. It's not right in the city centre but is only a short tram ride away and it's close to all the museums, which are really worth a look. The staff are very helpful, they can help plan your stay with ticket bookings and recommendations for where to go.

Disliked: The bathroom was small and the shower was a bit dodgy. but nothing terrible.

Liked: Non-smoking, safe, the room was small but good for what we needed (to sleep in Amsterdam!).

Disliked: The breakfast was good, but it could have used a little more variety.

Disliked: My neigbours was stolen by a thief who came in through the broken window. My window was broken too. The videocameras dosn't wok and all this is a lack of security and a problem for all these people who want sure for their baggage and of course for theirself.

Disliked: Lack of security. The belongings and luggage of a group of spanish tourists was stolem from thier room and hotel administration did not take any action or responsibility.

Liked: Very close to the tramline that leads straight into the centre of town. The breakfast was very good and there's free internet access in the lobby.

Disliked: The rooms are very hit and miss. I have stayed in MANY hostels, so I am by no means being picky. The first bathroom we had stunk. It was very bad. We moved to another room where there was just a shower room (no curtain). It didn't stink so we settled :)

Liked: The room was pleasant with a nice view, the bathroom was clean.

Disliked: The Hotel was a bit noisy and one morning there was no hot water left.

Liked: location!!right next to all the museums and away from the touristic neighbourhood!!!great for artists!!

Disliked: staff was rude and charged me extra and rather argued even after I told them that they have charged me -that was dissapointing!!!
