Liked: OK location for the museums and nightclub area

Disliked: Way to expensive, €50 when max it was worth €25 per night

Liked: Inner Amsterdam was great. They call themselves a 'Hotel' on the outside, and while that may be a bit of an exaggeration, it´s a great value for the money. My room had a nice ensuite bathroom, and the morning breakfast buffet (breads, meats, cheese, granola, etc.) was fantastic. Several big groups of teenagers made the hostel kinda crowded while I was there, but I still enjoyed it. And the neighborhood it´s in is also quite nice and modern.

Liked: Check-in was smooth. I arrived early although check-in time was 2pm. However they do provide luggage storage to temporarily store items while you can go out and explore again.

Disliked: The flap doors at every entrance floor males too much flappy noise for comfort. Double decker beds have no ladder and too squeaky.

Liked: Good location, and fairly helpful and friendly staff.

Disliked: We stayed for one night in a 8-bedded dorm, with some young Americans who'd been in town for some time. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a few days (dirty towels all over the floor, bin over-flowing). We also had to walk through the kitchen - to drop off/collect our bikes from the yard - where there was a resident cat very focused on a small hole in the corner!

Liked: Excellent location, friendly staff, spotless bathroom, delicious breakfast, was a great deal for the January Sale price I paid.

Liked: The hostel was very clean in a quiet area of the city, right by the museum quarter.

Disliked: The room was very small and we were on the ground level so in the morning the staff would be very noisy outside our window. Also the staff were unfriendly, in particular if you forgot to hand in the key or weren't told from the outset you had to show them your room card everytime you collected your key.

Liked: what i expected really after reading up on the previous views. worth the money and although the brekfast was included i only made it once, not overly keen on cold meat sandwiches for breakfast! location is a bit out of the way, originally taking us around 30-40 mins to walk there from station but the tram is a much easier journey. clean towels everyday was a bonus

Disliked: if any thing i would say location as there is not really much down that part of amsterdam, especially at night no shops open late to get food/drink from

Liked: nothing

Disliked: Some of the staff members treated customers like they weren´t there. Some others were treating them even worse. Room had no window, you have to take the cable car to get anywhere and loud noises from everywhere keep you awake all night.

Liked: very helpful and friendly staff, could answer any questions we had, and gave us information on sightseeing and the best way to travel, very clean compared to many hostels we have stayed in.

Disliked: not a lot of character, bar wasn't open

Disliked: The location is a bit out of the way of the main center of amsterdam. It is close to a few museums, if that's your thing.

Liked: inner amsterdam hostel was so much closer to the centre that we had thought, which made it the perfect location for a weekend in amsterdam..

Disliked: the sink in our room was blocked from the moment we arrived. nothing was done to fix it, even though we informed the staff. good job the shower was good!
