Liked: Tha lack of bed bugs! It was in a really nice area and made for a great holiday!

Disliked: The lights were way to dark, they gave me migraines.

Liked: At least it was clean.

Disliked: Our double room with en suite bathroom was tiny. The bathroom was nearly as big as the room. I recommend you to take flip flops with you for the shower. There was no wardrobe or cabinet to leave our clothes and barely enough space to fit both suitcases.

Liked: It was very close to the Van Gogh museum and a quieter area of amsterdam. I had a 4 person suite, and it was small, but all we needed was a place to sleep. Breakfast was pretty good. There were two adorable cats wandering about the hostel lobby.

Disliked: Far from the red light district & coffee shops. The shower head was a corner in the bathroom, so basically everything got wet in the bathroom (no curtain, or separation from the rest of the bathroom). The two top bunk beds had no divider, so the person in the other top bunk, if he was taller, would have had his feet on my bed.

Liked: The location is excellent, the staff is helpful.

Disliked: The worst is that private rooms are not in a seperate floor so it was noisy with doors slamming all the time.

Liked: quiet location suited us; convenient to tram and close to significant attraction (van gough museum); good breakfast; clean and comfortable room.

Disliked: Not much to complain about - the hall carpets were pretty worn/dirty looking.

Liked: It was the cheapest place I could find for that weekend in Amsterdam.

Disliked: No free breakfast. My room had no windows or ventilation and the bathroom was in the room. So not only was it hot and muggy, but every time someone took a shit the whole room would smell. Very disgusting. Also it was very far away from all the main attractions of Amsterdam and was not easy to find.

Liked: I really have nothing to complain. It was cheap and clean. The neighborhood was easy to find very close to the Van Gogh museum and the national museum with tram stations nearby. Very convenient and comfortable.

Disliked: The air was not on so a bit stuffy and hot in the afternoon. But if you keep the room door a bit cracked it will circulate the air, making it cooler ;)

Liked: its location is walk away from liedseplein. the workers were so friendly and helpful.

Disliked: we stayed a 2 people ensuit for 3 nights but we could not move inside the room due to its smallness. the room number was 113.

Liked: breakfast was all right

Disliked: the double room we were given did not have a window but just a little hole on the ceiling that we could not open. The air got pretty stiff after couple of days. The shower gel that was given in the bathroom run out after couple of days and it was bnever replaced. The room (furniture, bed, floor) seemed having a tick layer of sand when we arrived.

Liked: the location of the accommodation was great with tram stops very close by and the Van Gogh Museum just around the corner! friendly staff and good breakfast! No curfew was also great as we missed our stop on the night bus therefore got back at 3am!

Disliked: rooms were very small and dark with the shower only pumping out cold water!

Liked: The property is located in the main city and easy accessible from / to tram service and bus service. I'm impressed with the clealiness of the property.

Disliked: Due to various reasons, I had paid full amount in advance (atleast 45days in advance). When arriving, the staff at reception did not have knowledge on this, I had to show enough evidence of full payment but we ahd long aruments. It took more time for the staff to realise this. They should improve to track the payments and ensure that it is recorded in their system.

Liked: Liked: Its very close to the museum district (minutes away walking distance from the Van Gogh Museum). If that is where you intend on being the most of your time in Amsterdam, then this is a good place stay. The staff were pleasant, and breakfast was average but good.

Disliked: Disliked: It felt like a very muggy atmosphere, and the cleanliness was severely lacking. The room my friend and I stayed in had some type of mold growing on the curtains and in a corner of the room. We also wandered down a hallway and found a dead mouse lying in the middle of it. We had payed to stay in a female dorm, and then the hostel changed it to a mixed dorm by just sticking a random man in our room. This wasn't a problem, other than it wasn't what we had payed for. There weren't any lockers either, so you had to leave your stuff piled up in the room. I would consider staying at other hostels until this hostel increases its cleanliness.

Liked: Good location. Just a few streets from Van Gogh Museum, and not at all far from downtown (One can easily walk, though it certainly saves time if taking the tram). GREAT breakfast with deli meats, cheese, bread, coffee and juice; may be regular food items but for the price paid and compared to other hostels (which do not even offer breakfast, it was great!). Quiet and nice for sleeping. Overall, a really good place to stay.

Liked: Easy to find. Sheets changed regularly. Ample food served for breakfast.

Disliked: Lack of water, shower was a dribble and cold. Bedroom was minute. Bunks in 6 bedded room had no ladders, poor ventilation and shower door missing.
