Liked: This place was super easy to find. LOVED the neighborhood. Right next to Vondelpark. There are about 2 coffeeshops on this same street, about 1-3 minutes away from the flat. To put it simply, this room is pretty much an apartment. Had a great christmas here. Also, Marc, the guy who is in charge is a wonderful person and very, very helpful. Recommend this place 110%!

Disliked: Honestly, I cannot think of one negative thing to say about this property.

Liked: Fantastic room and very spacious. The owner was helpful and friendly, he told us where shops, entertainment and restaurants were. All the facilities were good and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials left from other visitors which we were welcome to use. The accommodation is on a big road near to the centre which is close enough to walk to and easy to find.

Disliked: Nothing, a dvd player in the room might have been good but its not an essential and loved the accommodation anyway.

Liked: Beautifull big rooms with fridge on the room. All facilities in the kitchen. Close to nice attractions, coffee shop 40m away. Fast internet. I recommend this place 100 %.

Liked: Lovely to have room and kitchen in a relatively central location; very helpful staff

Disliked: Well, as others have mentioned: there was no oven, and the toilet/bathroom were shared but these are very minor issues...

Liked: We thought the property was great- the room was really spacious with two large doubles in and was clean and warm. We had our own large bathroom and there was a shared kitchen. It was easy to get to from the centre and the tram stop is right outside. I think that it is a lot nicer and better value for money than hostels. Marc didn't mind us leaving our bags there in the morning we checked out. I'd def reccomend staying here!

Liked: very good for a group and the price was spot on!

Disliked: only had one set of keys between 4 an could not get hold of mike for another set but it wasn't that much of a problem.

Liked: וts really big (huge!) rooms there, its has very eq iped kitchen , with all devices, and big bathroom ..very good value for money..

Disliked: A litle faraway from the historic centre but its really short drive on bicycall or the tram

Liked: very large, clean, bedroom, whith two huge beds. Nice atmosphere. The bathroom in sharing, but it was always clean. Have common kitchen, but with very good space. i definitely recommended.

Liked: Much larger then expected. This property is perfect for a group of four. Huge open rooms only 15mins walk from the action. Definitely a good place to make base. You get a few sets of keys so theres a lot of freedom. Awesome apartment.

Disliked: No oven in the kitchen. Thats pretty much it.....

Liked: Value for Money is really a must. Marc (the owner?!) is very helpful and can provide you all the information you need. I think this is an apartment with 3 rooms that Marc is renting as an hostel, so you won't find the noise and confusing of typical hostels. That's good for me.

Disliked: It is a little bit far from center (25min walking) but you can use public transports that are very good. Anyway, there's also some attractions very close to it. If you intend to park the car, the best option is the P+R park in Olympic Stadium. 8€ per day if you follow the instructions. One window "blind" was damaged and in the first time we try to close it, it falls down on my head. No problem to me, and with some Portuguese/Macgyver techniques we solved it temporary.

Liked: The room is very spacious. There is a common kitchen with all the stuffs provided. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a washing machine on the top of the house but the staffs didn't tell me. So I don't know if it can be used or not. You should ask them about that.

Disliked: The location is a bit out of the city center. It's a bit harder for you to get the right direction. Although the room is large, the bath room is cramped. I don't like the damp smell inside the room. There's also mould in the bath room.

Liked: This was the best accomodation I stayed in over the five week holiday throughout Europe. It was spacious and felt lovely to stay in accomodation which was more like a house than the normal stay in a hotel room. Everything was clean and it was the most relaxing space to come back to after exploring the city. The layout inside the apartment was fantastic and Marc was just great and really welcoming. The location was good as well in terms of nearby services and tram location. This definately meets the high expectations of Australians when travelling. It also beat staying in a hotel in comparison to money spent. It's private and spacious and clean. I would definately stay there again without hesitation. It actually came to feel like home very quickly which was a great suprise.

Disliked: My only comment would be that the shared toilet, bathroom and kitchen area are outside the room however its manageable due to the warmth of the apartment. For a short stay its not too disruptive and the kitchen and bathroom was just lovely and well equipped.

Liked: It was beautiful! The room was so spacious and clean with lots of natural lot and big windows. Hardwood floors and two double beds. There was also a small refridgerator and eating area with table and chairs for four.

Disliked: The shower didn't have curtain and made somewhat of a mess--but the bathroom was very large and clean too.

Disliked: Not much chance to meet other travellers at the hostel, also a bit of a walk from the centre.

Liked: Marc was very helpful, kitchen is well equipped, supermarket around the corner, the property is in walking distance to a nice park. if you come by car, park it at Olympische Stadium, you get 2 bikes for free for the time you are parked there[up to 4 days], parking is 8 Euros daily.

Disliked: nothing

Liked: Very clean, basic, but had everything we needed. Nicely refurbished. Really helpful staff.

Disliked: Quite far from the center, but easy access with the tram.

Liked: We stayed in a 2 person private room which was surprisingly spacious, the bed was very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The only thing i can think of is that we had some noisy neighbours but it was just bad luck.

Liked: absolutely amazing room...... which was three times bigger than any other rooms we have stayed in on the trip. i will definately stay here next time i visit amsterdam. 10/10

Disliked: only that there was no elevator.... but there was only 3 floors so no real issue....

Liked: close to all locations (walking distance), rooms were very big, full kitchen, fridge in bedroom

Disliked: owner was rarely present, the map we received was a print out from a computer that didn't have many street names on it, curtains didn't prevent the sunlight from coming through, not a good place to meet people
