Situated right in the heart of Amsterdam, just a stone's throw from the Royal Palace, between Dam Square and the Red Light District and only a 5 minute walk to the central train station, Hostel Croydon represents excellent value for money accommodation.

We have our own restaurant and offer a range of accommodation which vary from private rooms to dorms. If you are looking for a real place to enjoy with coffee shops and bars in close proximitiy then we are the right place to be.

All the rooms are renovated in 2009.

We offer a range of rooms from private to dorms. All our rooms are equipped with TV, and a bathroom in most rooms.

We have private rooms for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 people.

Location Information

The Hostel is situated in the heart of Amsterdam between Dam Square and the Red Light District.

Dam Square is a two minute walk away and a great place to get your bearings. From here you can reach all of Amsterdam's tourist attractions. You can head west to Anne Frank's house, south to the Van Gogh museum and east to Rembrandt's house. There are canal tours galore, coffee shops left, right and centre and exhibits that will make your head spin.

Sandemans New Europe will take you on a free walking tour of Amsterdam which leaves from our check-in desk at 10.45 a.m. every morning. The tour takes about 3 hours and the guides speak English and Spanish.
