Customer reviewWe reserved the hostels via internet. When we arrived, we did not find the hotel. Little sign but no door... There is only a desk outside and it was closed. It was at noon. We were at another hotel for that day so we decided to walk in the city. We came back at 7PM and the guy was there. If we would have had our luggage, I don't know what we would have done! The guy said to us that we could come back the day later at noon and the cleaning lady would open for us. We came back as he said and had to knock so hard on the door and wait many minutes before the cleaning lady came. Room was Ok. No private bathroom and we had to pay cash... on the spot. |

Customer reviewVery dirty room... loads of dirt and dust on the floor. Originally booked a room for 5 days but made the decision to stay only 4 nights before we even payed. When we asked for a room for 4 nights instead of 5, the man at the desk told us that it was too difficult to refigure the prices so we ended up having to pay for 5 nights. Nice central location but unfriendly staff and bad atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend staying here! |

Jussi-Pekka KinnunenThere was something fishy about this place, prices were quite high, but I admit that it couldn't be nearer the Centraal station and the shopping district. |

Customer reviewTHIS IS A SCAM: THE HOSTEL DOESN'T EXIST!! In the adress where the hostel was supposed to be there was only a news-stand. The man there told us our room wasn't ready yet. Although apparently there was no room at all, we decided to wait a little bit. A few hours later, when we went back to the "hostel" (news-stand) the man said he was taking us to our room, but instead of that he drived us to a call center (not sure if this is the right english word, but it was a place where people go for making long distance calls - nothing to do with a hostel). Over there, he started talking with two other men in a language we couldn't understand and finally he said he was taking us to our room. We started walking along the street (of course at this point we had already realized it was most porbably a scam, starting by the fact that the hostel wasn't even located where it was supposed to be). We arrived to a bulding and he drived us to the top floor, and tried to convince us that "that" was our hostel room. It was completely obvious that there was somebody living in that room (the closet and the desk where full of a person's stuff - the kind of personal items you keep at your bedroom). Of course we told the man this was somebody's place and finally (after very difficult moments) we got him to recognize that it was the room of a friend of him. He said "don't worry my friend, he won't come today, I give you the keys..." We completely denied staying there (we couldn't event be sure that the supposed "friend" wouldn't appear in the night without knowing we were there!) and so we had to start walking around the city until we found our own accomodation. BE AWARE THIS HOSTEL IS A SCAM!! THERE'S NO HOSTEL!! |

Customer reviewThe location ultra central yet really quiet and the wifi we got for the week for 4 euro. This place was the cheapest we could find in the city. Yet accommodation is NOT cheap in Amsterdam. Iv stayed in nicer Hostels for less around Europe. Tip: The shower hot and cold tap is on the wrong way around...got a little wake up call! No cooking facilities. |

Customer reviewThe location was within walking distance of the central station. However this benefit was outweighed by the numerous flaws. |
