The location is great, in front of a small quiet channel, just a few blocks to the "red light” and 15 min walk to Leidseplein.

It is more like a real hotel, with the basic amenities. It's in a good location, right in the heart of Amsterdam. It is clean and quiet if you're looking to get a good night's rest.

The desk clerk from Slovakia was primo--very personable and fun!
Also, we liked the security of the hostel. The desk clerk had to buzz people in to get to the rooms...this was very reassuring.

Very friendly staff. Excellent location ++++. Highly recommend for anyone looking to be close to the action yet able to enjoy the peace and beauty Amsterdam has to offer.

This is a pretty nice hotel, in a fantastic location - the rooms are quite small, but this is no big deal given price/location. The major problem, though, is that the beds are truly the least comfortable thing I have ever tried to sleep on and made it difficult to actually get to sleep.

Its Location as it is very central and in a beautiful location. the staff were very friendly. The access to services were 24 hour which was great as we are both young people and don't like going to bed too early.
