A Good location within easy reach of Amsterdam centre. Not too loud, not too quiet - perfect. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but that is a small thing. Friendly, great breakfast, good showering facilities - A great hotel on all counts.

Close to everything - in party area but room was in the back and quiet at night.

This hostel actually is a bunch of apts that they rent out. We had a full apt with dining rm, kitchen, bdrm and bathroom. It was HUGE. Everything was clean, furnishings were comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, bed was very comfy and the only noise was from the street, as this was in the Red Light District, but was easy to close off that noise. The only downsides are that there was no phone or direct way to contact the management unless you went to their smokey coffeeshop, which was several blocks away. I give it a 3 on "fun place to meet people and party" only cuz it was an apt, so you don't get to really meet other people travelling where you are staying. The location, altho in the Red Light, felt safe because of the square adjacent to the apt and the nice shops & cafes in the area.

The fact it was like a flat direct off the street which you can go in and out when you please and it was very secure

Staff were great. Good discounts in bar and coffee shop for staying with them and the bar was a great place to relax. Excellent location.

The Hostel was right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the main attractions. The rooms are basic but clean and cosy. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a bar and coffee shop with 10% discount.
