Liked: It was dirty and the rooms were over crowded,.My bag was stollen out of my locker, someone used boltcutters on my padlock and the hostel workers wouldnt look through the securety videos to see who done it.....verry suspisious!

Liked: Despite the fact it does not have a lift. I like this hostel and the people who worked in the place. What can I say? It is close to Central Station and Public Library. Do not let the looks turn you off it is a good hostel.

Liked: The opportunity to meet people from all over the globe and all walks of life really was the best part of staying at the globe. Shared kitchen/lounge area just for hotel guests would be brilliant. That would make interdormitary communication possible with less friction.

Liked: Well i think everyone can agree this location is perfect, 2 minute walk form train station! The staff are quite friendly and helpful. The cleaniness of the hostel could do with improving to be honest! But on all it is a cheap bed in a great location. If thats all you want and need then its a good option but if you want luxury or if you are OCD then this aint the place for you my friend!

Liked: helpful staff, nice atmosphere, good beer (murphys red). beds and bedding clean. will stay again in june 2010. this is a good hostel rightin the centre of things. perfect for a few days city break.

Liked: not much.. we got our valuable stuff stolen out of our locker inside the the dorm!!!!! PISSED..while there were people in the room!! (stone) "ahhh im not sure if he was staying here!" idiots! stay there if you want.. its crap and boring, and no free breakfast! and check out is 10...wat the! in Amsterdam..

Liked: It was cheap and quiet for a couple of nights, not much fun though, and no real chance to interact with other travellers.

Liked: The location is amazing but can get a bit to much after a week, but the staff were really helpful. and the graffiti in the rooms is so comically hilarious, go just for the hilarious quotes and drawings!

Liked: The beds were terrible! They are not only completely sunken in, but are incredibly loud when you move.....So everyone would wake up when one person in the room makes the smallest of movements on the bed. Very annoying....but that aside, the hostel was more than decent.
