Liked: The location was awesome! It is a good place for young people who want to have fun.. The hostel is also a bar so you can hang out there if you want.. The internet sign was good too.

Liked: First the thought of staying at the red light district scare us a bit but when we saw the place we realized we did the best choice. The Globe Bar also served as a secure base of operation in between the excursions to the wild city.

Liked: Convenient location, bar downstairs in case you get thirsty (which I do a lot). Great free wireless internet.

Liked: Facilities, price and especially location was good. There was a nice bar, but there is not much life in the bar/reception area - it was to dark in my opion.

Liked: Just location really, which couldn't be better, right inside red light district. The room I booked was infested by fleas and had to change to a bigger one, disgusting.

Liked: Pretty cheap and right in the middle of everything, not much to the rooms but it had everything you needed. The staff were helpful and friendly as well

Liked: Bathroom in the room not really clean, but other than that no complaints. Bar is a bit expensive, but cheap for Amsterdam. Smoking room with pool tables.

Liked: the room was cramped and there were no window in the room. it was ensuite but toilet and shower were filthy. i stayed 3 nights but couldnt see any cleaners. the only good thing was breakfast.

Liked: best hotel ever..we really had a good time there, the people who works there is friendly, warm and kind, also the isntalations which the hotel has are magnificient. if you want to go to amsterdam and have a really good stay there, go direct to hostel the globe.. by

Liked: very friendly and helpful staff with excellent location. one should not expect much from a 15€per night 8-people room, though. no soup, no champoo no towels, and narrow shower & toilet (together). a weird smell. but great if you are thinking about leaving your bags, surfing with free internet downstairs or hanging around in the city, and only go to your room for sleeping. it has wonderful location.
