Liked: The location is right in the center, though as are most of the hostels.

Disliked: The room was very cold, lockers broken, one dirty shower for the hall, beds you couldn't sit up on, a less than happy and attentive staff, a very glum place ...

Liked: it's cheap, the location is great (near the station and on the top of the RLD)staff is good, the hostel streams the main sport events

Liked: We had some great people staying there and that was really the only redeeming factor.

Disliked: The bar was cheap compared to elsewhere but just too expensive for people to be sitting around drinking. I think this meant you never saw the same people again and barely knew who was even in your rom

Liked: the close distance to all major places in the city

Disliked: People DID smoke in the room the whole night through and no-one told them off for leaving a terrible mess!

Liked: The location could not be better! Also felt safe, lockers in the rooms and 24 hours security.

Disliked: The lack of a guest kitchen and that the prize is quite high considering there is not any food included. No mirrors/sinks in the dorm rooms.

Liked: It had a prime location in the red light district.

Disliked: the main member of staff threatened us as we explained we could only pay on the last day. he thought we wouldnt so said there would be consequences. 3 members of our party were late by 2 days, and as there was no deposit, they got made to pay for 3 nighst instead of the 1 night they stayed. €105 for 1 night.

Liked: it was near cenrtraal station which was very convenient.

Disliked: BEDBUGS rooms of 22 dirty, graffitied unhelpful staff crappy bar downstairs no internet/computers very loud

Liked: The location is the only thing that is really good about this place. The rest of the hostel is not recommendable at all. The beds were clean and quite comfortable. So for a one night stay its absolutely enough, if you stay longer - look for another place.

Disliked: The cleaniness, the bar, the bathrooms (horror!!).

Liked: Great location on the edge of the Red Light District, a stone's throw from Centraal Station, and with a good averagely-priced bar.

Disliked: Used my room being a 'large dorm' as an excuse for there being no room key: the dorm is left unlocked. Dorm is quite cramped. Grafitti is all over the dorm and bathroom walls. Infested with bedbugs. Many lockers are broken or distorted, not boding well for those left intact.

Liked: Location was quite near to the Red Light street which was one of the well-known area in Amsterdam.

Disliked: They did not give us any soap or something. At least they can put some liquid soaps inside the restrooms.
