Welcome to Amsterdam and Hostel The Globe Centre.

Hotel The Globe is located close to the Red Light District and overlooks two of the most famous canals of Amsterdam. It is only 3 minute walk away from the Amsterdam Centraal Station, and less than 10 minutes walk distance away from all of the major tourist attraction spots, such as Dam Square, Flower Market, Shopping Streets, Rembrandt Square, Red Light District, and various Coffee Shops in the Centrum area. However, the Globe enjoys its quiet and easy neighborhood while it is some distance away from the major tourist traffic. The hotel has 25 clean and pleasant rooms, and each has its own en-suite bathroom and shower room. It has triple, quadruple, and up to 8 beds family en-suite available.

Sleeping however is not the only thing you can do at Hostel The Globe Centre. The hostel has one of the biggest bars of the Red Light District that is open up to 3 o'clock in the morning (5 in the weekend)! There's a full affordable breakfast, lunch and dinner menu (which includes a great all day English and American Breakfast!) Take a seat on our canal side terrace while you enjoy a great meal and a drink (or two!).

But that's not all. Hostel The Globe Centre is best known for its Sports Bar. You can view all major sport events Live! Premiership action, UEFA, Champions League, World Cup we show it all! And for the normally hard to find Super Bowl, N.F.L, N.B.A, it's no problem here all on 9 TV’s and 2 big screens!!

We also have free Wireless Access in your Bar Area! Also pool table & darts board for any quiet moments!

Please note that any cancellations must be at least 72 hours in advance, otherwise the first night for the amount of people on the booking will be charged on the given credit card details!
Arrival Time:
Your room(s) /bBed(s) will only be kept 2 hrs after your given arrival time, (your arrival time is in 24hrs clock!) it is your responsibility to contact the Hotel/Hostel if you are going to be delayed otherwise we will presume you are a 'No Show' and reallocate your beds!!


We have a 5% service charge if you pay by debit and credit card. Tourist tax is already included in the price!

Dam Square is a two minutes walk distance away and a great place to navigate around the city. From here you can head west to Anne Frank's house, south to the Van Gogh museum and east to Rembrandt's house. There are canal tours galore, coffee shops left, right and centre and exhibits that will make your head spin.
