 The people were great, and the bar and the staff was maad cool. The beach was great too. They also had a shuttle service into Amsterdam proper, for when you get bored of the beach and wanna check out that crazy f'n city (which ya gotta do). Bathrooms were clean, and if you got hot, the beach was close enough to walk over to ta take a dip in the ocean. It was lovely man. If you're goin to the beach, stay at the Pig.

the hole set up was hella tight, the staff and backpackers were way melow, it was like a block if that from the beach, cool ass music thumping in the back round, this place was hella fresh, and thas wus up

That the bar IS the reception desk so as soon as you walk in you just get nothering but good vibes from the place.

The hostel had an awesome enviroment and the sort-of secluded location made it an even better place to meet people. It is outside of the city centre, but its a wonderful place to stay for a rest and see a different part of the country (with a beach!). I would definately reccomend staying in the city centre for one or two nights and then coming out to this place. Awesome stay.

It had the best hang out spot of any hostel I have been to. I met more people there than anywhere else! just a fun atmosphere

i liked the fact that this hostel is close to the beach.. we can feel the true atmosphere of the dutch people, see the north sea, participate of local and traditional parties and also visit Leiden and Rotterdam.
