Liked: Loved the location near the lake. Great staff and uber-relaxing atmosphere. Might be cold but they provide free blankets. Pay for small space heater. Some people consider it "camping" but you have your own private caravan and a public lounge. Kichen and bathroom facilities were better than expected...Great Hot water for showers.

Liked: I liked everthing about this hostel, it was great, the people we met were great, so many different cultures in one area, was really interesting to talk to other vistors to Amsterdam. The staff at the facility were wonderful and very accomodating, I will definately be back one day, my experience in Amsterdam was amazing, really a fantastic place to visit.

Liked: everything is good, and the hostel shop is reasonable. The kitchen is good. Cheap stay, share, clean. Just home sweet home.

Liked: It is pretty far away from central part of Amsterdam and you will spend a bit for transport, but it worked for us as we drove a car and there was no problem with parking at this place. Other then that - it is nice place to stay.

Liked: The location very close to a nice lake (too rough to paddle in) and some canals they will hire you a canoe. Also they have a minibus that takes you to the nearest trainstation 20 minutes from the centre of Amsterdam. They have a really cool policy of sharing with the new guests stuff the previous guests have left behind, toiletries, food, smokes etc.
