everything is good, and the hostel shop is reasonable. The kitchen is good. Cheap stay, share, clean. Just home sweet home.

It is pretty far away from central part of Amsterdam and you will spend a bit for transport, but it worked for us as we drove a car and there was no problem with parking at this place. Other then that - it is nice place to stay.

It was clean and smelled new;-) The staff was very nice and helpful.Thanks,Rose! It's a little far away from the city..but it was calm and comfortable.

The location very close to a nice lake (too rough to paddle in) and some canals they will hire you a canoe. Also they have a minibus that takes you to the nearest trainstation 20 minutes from the centre of Amsterdam. They have a really cool policy of sharing with the new guests stuff the previous guests have left behind, toiletries, food, smokes etc.

Its very laid back with a very chilled out atmosphere. Good place to go with mates, not so much a family place though. We really liked it although a bit far out from town.

I loved the caravans. They were private, and we didn't worry about the security of our possessions. The common kitchen/lounge areas were so convenient. The staff was always helpful and very cheery. Everyone respected the quiet time. The shuttle to the metro made travelling extremely easy. Be aware that nothing is open in Abcoude, on Sunday, except for a delicious pub. I will be, hopefully in the near future, returning to Lucky Lake for a longer stay!!!

The friendly staff and the cool atmosphere - everyone is so laid back and up for a laugh! The caravans and showers were really clean and overall we had a really fun time! Definately go if you want a chance to meet awesome people <3

this was an amazing place to stay. they now have kitchen facilities which was great. great bunch of people running hostel and keeping it very clean.31 CARAVANS IN ONE PLACE WOW. it was a bit far out of the city but plenty of public transport/ we loved it.
