Liked: Breakfast, Wifi in common areas

Disliked: - Lift was out of use for the entire 3 nights there - Apperance of the room was like a hospital - Seemed like cleaners never came once into our room - No towels, bathmat

Liked: Handy location. Big comfy lounge area with free wifi. Decent breakfast. Comfy beds and own cupboard to lock valuables in. Well set up for travellers.

Disliked: Smelly toilet in dorm room as it appeared not to get cleaned very often. Would have liked a kitchen to eat or prepare basic food.

Liked: Excellent stay! Very clean hostel and friendly staff. the breakfast was ok, nothing really fancy...just simple but good!

Disliked: Three kid in the room were making too much noise when they got back at 3 / 4 am. Not very nice of them. The shower and the sink could have been better cleaned.

Liked: I stayed with three other people, who were very friendly. The room size was good. People at the reception were helpful and nice, and the breakfast was good, with many options compared to others we stayed in later. Location is great, close to many attractions and with easy access. Elevators available, which was good, and the keys to the room worked well. I felt very safe there.

Disliked: The building is big, so it can be confusing at first how to get to your room. You can only use the internet in the lobby, so it's not possible to surf on the web in your room. There is a good side to that, though, because I made some friends there. The bath towels are small, more like face towels, they don't dry well and cost 3.50 euros. We stayed there for three nights, and before we arrived the room hadn't been cleaned. That's something they could have done.

Liked: Amazing location close to the entertainment district, tram, parks, attractions, and museums. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable. It offer free breakfast which is a wonderful deal for students and backpackers. The location is 2 min walk to one of the most beautiful squares in amsterdam.

Liked: The location is perfect and the breakfast is the most complete I ever had in a hostel.

Liked: The lounge area always had a bunch of people in it, the hostel was extremely clean, and the breakfast was amazing. The hostel also offered discounted tickets and a free tour.

Disliked: No kitchen to cook in and the towels that you could purchase weren't the greatest.

Liked: very good location. within walking distance to everywhere. or you could easily take the tram. excellent value for money. staff were helpful with questions as well.

Disliked: sometimes during shower the water goes cold. hot water doesn't run properly.

Liked: Hostel is perfectly good but rather commercial-like as opposed to a quirky little place. Nice and clean, good breakfast and location.

Liked: I liked that it was walking distance to the main square as well as main sights.

Disliked: I didn't like that fact that you had to pay €2 to keep your luggage as this is the first hostel that I stayed in that charges you to hold luggage. Also this is the first hostel where I have had to queue to have breakfast! Not what you need after a heavy night in Amsterdam. You have no room in the loos. Your knees literally touch the door when you are having a poo! I'm joking but really, there isn't much room and I felt enclosed in such a small area. I think there should be a bar or snack bar open more hours.

Liked: Great hostel, probably the best value for money in amsterdam

Disliked: the ONLY thing I didn't like was there was no hand soap in the toilets in our rooms and the bathrooms weren't amazing, but they were decent

Liked: The building is great and big, and very good breakfast!

Disliked: we have to pay for everything, for the computers, or even a towel they chargue 3.50 euros. The bathrooms are not well cleaned!

Liked: Very very friendly staff, great facilities, did not hound you over small stuff, but it still felt really safe and well-run.

Disliked: Honestly, nothing comes to mind, it was an all around positive experience.
