Liked: The lobby is great to meet friends and know new people, the service at the reception is very good, the breakfast is ok. The location is very good.

Disliked: The bedrooms was dirty, the towels didn't smel good, the bathroom was horrible. You have to change those things so everything will be very good!!!

Liked: The rooms were clean and large enough but quite basic furnishings. Vondel Park is a little out of the way of the main nightlife areas, although it is very near the Van Gough and Rijks Museum. The free breakfast is good value as it is help yourself buffet. it's not gourmet food but it's nice enough.

Disliked: Unfortunately there is no kitchen or anywhere to get hot water or plates/cups etc other than during breakfast time. Which means you have to pay 80 cents for tea or a cup of hot water, which does start to add up. Also they charge 3 euros and hour for WiFi and 2 euros a day for luggage storage lockers.

Liked: Very clean property, feels very secure too, always somebody on the door and video cameras around which add to the feel of a safe environment. The hostel bar and addition of pool table and air hockey are good fun for starting off your night, and the beer really IS the cheapest in Amsterdam! It's a great location at the north side of Vondelpark, and only around a 20 minute walk to Centraal Station as long as you stick to the right path...

Disliked: Room service coming in and doing their job when you're trying to sleep in.

Liked: The location is the best thing going for this place. Also has a secure bicycle lock up.

Disliked: All the extras are very expensive. No complimentary wifi (and a small fortune when you do want to use it), towels are a joke, staff are pretty stale and unfriendly, very simple rooms... I suggest if you want to stay near Vondelpark, try and find somewhere else.

Liked: I enjoyed a lot staying at Stayokay Vondelpark. The rooms were clean and organized. The members of staff were also very helpful. I was also impressed with the breakfast. Probably the best I have ever had in a hostel. I’ll definitely recommend it.

Disliked: I think they could make towels available for the guests.

Liked: Best hostel I have EVER stayed at! Great atmosphere and facilities. Great place to meet people. Very clean. It was more than I ever expected from a hostel.

Disliked: Somewhat difficult to find. It took me a while to realize you actually have to enter Vondelpark to find the hostel.

Liked: Location is very good. A few meters both from Leidseplein (where the fun is) and museum area (if you are interested)..

Disliked: The room was smaller than my expectations (we stayed in a private room for 2).. but it was ok since we spent most of our time outside..
